Hi. I'm Peter McVeigh AKA DJ Pete/DJ PM. I describe myself as a professional sounding, versatile DJ with a true talent for making my audience engage with my music and vibe.

Starting out on the Mobile Disco circuit, for the past 28 years I have been playing live music mostly within the greater Auckland and surrounding areas and Australia. I'm currently Auckland based, but happy to travel to other areas.

My style in music varies. I play anything from 60's to 90's Dance Floor Classics to Old Skool Groove, R&B, House, Dance, Chart and Club remixes. I'm always looking to expand my music by constantly updating my playlist.

I don't claim to specialize in "Dance Revolution" nor am I a "Technic Freak", but my experience in gauging the vibe of my audience and my consistent style has kept me in the industry a lot longer than others. I also Stage Manage and Compere, have been MC alongside personalities and entertainers like Sir Peter Leitch, Andrew Newton, Andy Stankovich and Brian Childs, as well as social and community events for Chartered Clubs etc.

I cover all functions from Kid's Parties to Corporate and Special Events, Weddings, Bar Mitzvah's, Birthdays of all ages, New Year's Eve or just a good old boogie night in.

I don't just turn up to an event without introducing myself formally. I believe in professionalism and reliability. Before I play a venue I meet with you, the client, to discuss all and any details covering your event from music preference to lighting and sound equipment.
